Science Leadership Academy is a public magnet school in Philadelphia. The Modern Day de Tocqueville project is the culmination of the 12th Grade American Government course. Students read excerpts from Democracy in America, developed their own questions for investigation, and wrote text and created multimedia that communicates larger ideas about the state of democracy in America today.
